Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc. (Nasdaq:HSII), the leadership advisory

today announced that Chris Seabourne has been appointed Partner in the Global
Life Sciences Practice.

Seabourne brings more than 15 years of experience in executive search,
specializing in leadership roles in the pharmaceutical, medical devices and
healthcare services sectors. Commenting on his appointment, Charles Moore,
Global Managing Partner of the Life Sciences Practice said, "We welcome Chris–
his extensive experience and insight into what it takes to be a successful

Outside of CEO, COO and CFO placements, he has completed many searches for
other key leadership positions including research and development, medical and
regulatory affairs, sales, marketing, finance, operations, logistics, quality
assurance, and human resources. He has recruited talent to positions based in
key business centres throughout Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and
South Africa. He has a particular aptitude for placing executives in new and
challenging markets.

Previously Seabourne worked with two leading Global executive search firms as a
member of the Global Life Sciences Practice. He entered the profession as head
of the European division of a global executive search boutique specializing in
life sciences and health care.

A former human resources executive, Seabourne held leadership roles with
premier global organizations. He began his corporate career with Rolls-Royce.
Later Seabourne held senior management positions with Fisons Pharmaceuticals
and with Nokia where his last position was Vice President of Global Human
Resources Development. During his time in industry he developed a particular
interest in Leadership issues. He has lived and worked in Europe and in North
America.

Seabourne holds a bachelor's degree (Hons) in Politics from the University of
Liverpool. He is based in the firm's London office.
