Se mere her

Her bider jeg især mærke i:
1: [vestas] are delighted that Vestas has been chosen as technology partner in this and future projects. (ALTSÅ OGSÅ VALGT SOM PARTNER I FREMTIDIGE PROJEKTER)
2: The Orient Green Power currently operates 152.6 MW in wind and is planning to add another 300 MW in wind in 2011. This 33 MW wind farm in Tamil Nadu is Orient’s first project with Vestas. [DE FREMTIDIGE PROJEKTER ER PÅ YDELIGERE 300MW OG SAMARBEJDSPARTNEREN ER NY FOR VESTAS)
Nyheden på engelsk
Vestas has received an order for 20 units of the V82-1.65 MW wind turbine for the Vellappaneri Wind Farm project in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.
The contract comprises supply and commissioning of the turbines, a VestasOnline® Business SCADA system as well as a 10 year service and maintenance agreement. Delivery is scheduled to start during the fourth quarter of 2010, and the project will be completed during the second quarter of 2011.
The order has been placed by Beta Wind Farm Pvt. Ltd, which is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Orient Green Power Company Limited (OGPL). The Orient Green Power currently operates 152.6 MW in wind and is planning to add another 300 MW in wind in 2011. This 33 MW wind farm in Tamil Nadu is Orient’s first project with Vestas.
“We are very excited to be the chosen as wind turbine supplier to Orient Green Power. The Vestas V82 platform is a tested and proven solution for the moderate wind regime in Tamil Nadu and our project execution track record and capability are second to none. We would also like to acknowledge the progressive steps Orient Green Power is taking with their own wind farm development in India and are delighted that Vestas has been chosen as technology partner in this and future projects,“ says Sean Sutton, President of Vestas Asia Pacific.
Vestas has been active in India for more than 10 years, and as per 30 June 2010, Vestas had installed more than 2,300 MW of wind power in India. The first V82-1.65 MW wind turbines were installed in Kongalnagaram, Coimbatore in 2004. Since then, Vestas has installed around 500 V82-1.65 MW turbines in India.
“We are pleased to receive this order from Orient Green Power and we look forward to a long and valued relationship. As a first time customer they have shown their confidence with the business certainty that we offer through our turbines and technology,” adds Managing Director of Vestas India, Denis Koh.
“OGPL is continuously strengthening its position as a key player in green energy generation which we believe is of sustained significance in the future. We are very pleased to partner with Vestas for our 33 MW Tamil Nadu wind farm project. This wind farm would take OGPL a step closer to its target capacity of 350 MW, expected to be achieved by March 2011. Given the track record of Vestas, we look forward to the successful completion of this project within the prescribed timelines,” comments Mr T Shivaraman, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Orient Green Power Company Limited.

Mvh.
