AMSC's problemer fortsætter:

American Superconductor (Nasdaq: AMSC) has received a notice from the NASDAQ stock exchange warning the company that it is in danger of being dropped from the exchange because it failed to file quarterly financial statements with the Securities and Exchange Commission for each of the two most recent quarters.
The move, disclosed in a regulatory filing, adds to a litany of bad news for the Devens, Mass-based global power technologies company, which announced Aug. 11 that it would lay off 150 workers following problems with its largest customer, Sinovel Wind Group Co., a Chinese wind power firm. Sinovel refused to accept wind turbine parts shipments from American Superconductor in April.
Also on Aug. 11, two executives announced they would depart the company: Charles W. Stankiewicz, executive vice president for operations and grid segment, and Angelo R. Santamaria, senior vice president for global manufacturing operations.
This is the second delisting notice the company has received. On June 17 the NASDAQ warned that the company had until August 16, 2011 to submit a plan to regain compliance with respect to the first missed quarterly report. The new letter says American Superconductor has until August 30, 2011 to submit an updated plan explaining how it expects to regain compliance.
The company said in the regulatory filing that it submitted its plan to regain compliance on August 16, and that it is currently under review. If the plan is accepted, NASDAQ may give the company an extension until December 14, 2011 before delisting the stock.

Man får også lokal us produktion.

Giant 10MW Britannia wind turbine project shelved
Clipper Windpower's Newcastle project put on hold by parent company UTC as Crown Estate confirms it will not buy prototype
